Terms and conditions
Interactive Spanish Books · Interactive Learning · Dímelo Slides · Last updated: October 16, 2026
These terms apply to the websites interactivespanishbooks.com and interactivelearning.app (together, “the website”): the free Spanish slides and courses, the Interactive Learning activity creator, the forums and the one-to-one classes you can book and pay for here. The Dominican Spanish app has its own Terms of Use.
1. Who we are
The website is run by Estalkin José Sención Rivera, an independent Spanish teacher based in the Dominican Republic (“we”, “us”). Contact: interacctivespanishbooks@gmail.com.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, posting in a forum, contacting a teacher, signing up for emails or booking a class, you accept these terms. Each of those forms has a separate, unticked box for these terms and another for the Privacy Policy, and we keep a record of when you ticked them and which version you accepted. You can browse and play activities without an account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, post in a forum or book a class yourself. Younger learners can use the website through their teacher, or with a parent or guardian who books and pays for them.
3. What we offer
- Free content: Spanish slides, courses, games and printable sheets.
- Interactive Learning: a free tool to create, play and share learning activities in any subject.
- Forums: questions and answers about the lessons and about Interactive Learning. Messages are published after we approve them.
- One-to-one classes by video call (Google Meet), sold as single classes, class packs or monthly plans (sections 8 and 9).
We may change, add or remove features. Free features come with no guarantee that they will always be available.
4. Your account
Keep your password safe and your email up to date. An account is for one person. You are responsible for what is done with it. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
5. What you create and post
Activities you create, files you upload (images, audio) and messages you post remain yours. You give us a free, worldwide licence to store, show and adapt them (for example, to resize an image) as needed to run the website. If you share an activity with the community, other users may play it and make their own copy to edit; you can remove it from the community at any time, but copies already made may remain.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload or paste (texts, images, audio, video links). Images found with the built-in search come from Openverse and are limited to the public domain (CC0 and the Public Domain Mark).
Do not post anything illegal, hateful, violent, sexual, defamatory or that infringes someone else’s rights, and do not post anyone’s personal data (email, phone, address). We may refuse, edit or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Using Interactive Learning with students
Students can play activities without an account. When a student finishes an activity, the name they type and their score can be sent to the author of the activity. Teachers who use the website with students are responsible for having any permission their school or the law requires, and should ask students to use a first name or a nickname, never full names, emails or other personal data.
7. Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the website; do not use bots to collect content or to create accounts; do not resell our content. Personal and classroom use is welcome.
8. One-to-one classes
- Booking: you sign in with Google, give a WhatsApp number so the teacher can reach you quickly about your classes, and choose a free time shown in your time zone. The class is confirmed when the payment goes through (or when it uses a class from your plan or pack). You receive a Google Calendar invitation with the Google Meet link and email reminders.
- Price and payment: prices are shown in US dollars before you pay and are paid through PayPal. We never see your card or bank details.
- Changes and cancellations: you can reschedule or cancel for free up to 12 hours before the class in “My classes”; paid single classes are refunded automatically. Details in the Refund Policy.
- If the teacher cancels, you get a full refund (or the class back in your plan or pack, if you used one).
- Lateness: if you join late, the class still ends at its usual time. After 15 minutes without you, it counts as given and is not refunded.
- Classes are not recorded.
9. Class packs and monthly plans
- Packs: paid once; the classes must be booked within the number of months shown when you buy (unused classes expire after that).
- Monthly plans: PayPal renews them every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in “My classes” or in your PayPal account; the plan stops at the end of the month already paid. Classes of a month must be booked within that month and do not carry over.
10. Our content
The slides, texts, recordings, illustrations, games and software of the website belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may use them for your own learning and in your own classes, but not copy, resell or republish them as your own. Credits: interface icons by Tabler Icons (MIT licence); the paintings in “Look at the painting” are public-domain works shown from Wikimedia Commons; fonts Poppins and Young Serif (SIL Open Font License).
11. AI features
Some features help you write an activity with artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes: review the result before using it with students. When you use “Create it now”, the topic you type is sent to Google (Gemini) to create the activity; see the Privacy Policy.
12. No warranty
The website and its content are provided “as is”. We do our best to keep them correct and available, but we do not guarantee that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that you will reach a particular level.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Ending
You can stop using the website and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 5, 10, 12, 13 and 16 continue to apply afterwards.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and important changes will be announced on the website. The next time a form asks you to accept them, you will be accepting the new version; we keep each version you accepted.
16. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to solve the problem. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live and may go to its courts.
